The old wool town of Saltaire has a street named Lockwood Street. As Lockwood is my surname I feel certain affinity with the place!
Saltaire Brewery Raspberry Blonde was a surprising brew for me. As I’ve said many times before, golden blonde beers tend to be overly hopped for my tastes, but Raspberry Blonde is excellently balanced and not too hoppy at all. It has amazing raspberry flavour, almost as if you are eating fresh raspberries. I am told that the hops are grown in an old raspberry plant field!
Perfectly served ice cold and a warms summer day, give it ago if you find it and I promise you will not be disappointed!
