I have a bit of a love hate relationship with Brew Dog. Some of their beers are excellent- really unique. Bur others are, well, let’s just say they probably wouldn’t even score a whole number on the Food and Beer Blog rating!
Quench Quake is one of the times that Brew Dog have got it right. Although it doesn’t strictly taste like a beer, in fact it tastes more than a Belgian style sour beer, it is pretty damn delish.
Very sour from the grapefruit and tangerine, with a great fruitiness about it, it certainly is a thirst quenching beer.
I would definitely say you should give this a go if you come across it. I found it at a fairly medium sized Tesco in the middle of the Peak District so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding it in your local supermarket!
Why not try it with my Jerk Pork?
