With what seems like half of the people I know currently living in Australia, I felt it was about time that I tried something Australian (which isn’t the monstrosity that is Fosters).

Coopers Sparkling Ale is very different to a traditional British ale. It is very light and fizzy (I suppose the name does give that away). However, it is not unpleasant at all. In fact, it’s very refreshing, with subtle hints of fruit, and it is certainly thirst quenching.

I would say that it is maybe a little too malty for my taste. For me it almost ruins the beer. However, you do get used to it, and it is perfectly pleasant as you drink the bottle.

Perfect for a hot sunny day, definitely one to pick up if you can find it.
