Creamy Leaks

Preparation and Cooking Time- 10 minutes

 

Serves 6

 

Quick and simple, perfect for Christmas day, these creamed leaks are completely hassle free and absolutely delicious. They can be made from scratch in just 10 mins, or made before the big day and reheated in a pan or even in the microwave! Stress free cooking at its finest.

 

Approximate cost of dish- £2

 

2 Leeks

 

250ml Cream

 

1 Tablespoon Butter

 

Salt and pepper

 

Method

 

1. Roughly chop your leeks as small as you can.

2. Add to a pan with your butter and soften for 2 to 3 mins.

3. Add your cream and salt and pepper and allow to simmer for another 2 to 3 mins until the cream thickens.

4. That’s it, simple as that!
