Tis the season to get jolly, and what better to way to start than with seasonal beers? I do love a good seasonal beer, they always put a smile on my face.

Animal Brewing Co. Penguin is a lightly spiced golden ale, using a single hop to give it a distinctive tropical spiced taste. It is quite dry on the back of your palette which takes a little getting used to but isn’t too aggressive.

I did have high hopes for Animal Brewing Co. Penguin, however it really was not for me. I think a Christmas beer should be dark, light beers do not hold up to the spice well enough and end up hitting a bit of a bum note really.
