Roast Chicken

Every Sunday, families across Britain are faced with an important decision. What choice of meat should we eat for our roast dinner? Some will argue that chicken is boring, or that it can be a touch too dry. Well, follow this recipe for the perfect roast chicken and you will never be disappointed again.

Approximate Cost of Dish – £4.50

Ingredients

1 Whole Chicken

Fresh Rosemary

Dry Oregano

4 Cloves of Garlic

Rapeseed Oil

Salt

Method

1. Spatchcock your chicken.

2. Make a marinade by mixing your rapeseed oil, rosemary, oregano, garlic and salt together.

3. Rub all over the chicken and leave for 30 mins.

4. Cook in a preheated oven at 190 Degrees Celsius for 45mins to 1 hour depending on the size of your chicken.

5. Take out of the oven and leave to rest for 10 mins. You will then have the perfect roast chicken for your Sunday roast!
